Test for Past Infection: Coronavirus (Covid-19) antibody tests
Get tested for COVID-19 antibodies using the antibody test. A positive result means you’ve been exposed to COVID-19 in the past or had the COVID-19 vaccine. There two types of tests available.
LATERAL FLOW ANTIBODY TEST
The lateral flow antibody test looks for antibodies in your blood to check if you had a past infection with the virus that causes Covid-19. The point of care test can be performed using an easy-to-use antibody lateral flow device which analyses your finger-prick blood sample. Results are ready in 15 minutes.
NEUTRALISING ANTIBODY TEST
The neutralising antibody test can be taken after vaccination to provide you with information about your body’s response to getting a vaccine. The neutralising antibody rapid test is a lateral flow test point of care test that detects IgG antibodies from a small finger prick of blood in only 15 minutes.
